[Skiing Action on Marble Mountain]

Marble Mountain is still one of the best kept secrets around. Overcrowding and overpricing are definitely not a trademark of this unspoiled resort. There are three high speed quads and two platters that usually provide near instantaneous lift service to anywhere on the mountain. Legs a little tired after skiing all those runs? Take a break in the modern 54,000 square foot base lodge. This all wood facility mirrors the ruggedness and grandeur of the terrain and provides a terrific view of the mountain. It was built for the relaxation, comfort, fun and convenience of visiting skiers. There are lockers, ski storage areas, a baggage check, ski repair shop, and a sports outlet. A base village is planned for apartments, retail space and a hotel in the near future. At present, a variety of accomodation needs can be met just 5 minutes away in the city of Corner Brook where dining, entertainment, clubs, pubs, and good times can be found!
